Background: Expansion with two new business areas

Väderholmen is a prominent real estate company specializing in office and retail space. In order to expand the business, they decided to build two new business areas, Broporten and Brännbacken. Broporten focuses on premises for car dealers, furniture stores, hotels and restaurants, while Brännbacken is aimed at warehouse and industrial operations.

Our design department was tasked with developing a new, common design language for these projects – a graphic identity that includes colors, shapes, typography and logo. The client wanted a design that could be easily applied to different areas and projects. To achieve this, we worked closely with the architects, enabling a smooth integration of design and functionality.

During the branding process, we conducted research and several workshops to identify what the brand should signal to the target audience. This work was crucial to create an effective visual communication.

The result was a common typeface and a contrasting color, with each business area given a specific color to increase recognition. The logos are similar to create a unified identity and allude to construction and maps/area drawings, where the shape of each specific surface becomes part of the logo.

We applied the graphic identity to a physical leaflet with a sales prospectus and a website, maximizing the visibility of Väderholmen and its new business areas.
